We are lucky enough to be placed between two theatres, The Spa Theatre and Royal Hall offers excellent entertainment of all kinds throughout the year, and The Spotlight Theatre in West Street, opposite, offers the best in Amateur Dramatics, with an extensive programme throughout the season.

There is plenty to see and do in and around Bridlington.

A favourite is to stroll through the newly refurbished Pembroke Gardens and along the beautiful sandy Bridlington South Beach, a mile of lovely flat walking along the Promenade with many places to sit and admire the expansive views from Flamborough Head to the North, down to Hornsea to the South.

If you are more energetic, walk through the bustling harbour and take a stroll along the Bridlington North Beach and cliff top to the award winning Sewerby Hall and Gardens, where you can take refreshments in the Clock Tower Café before returning, either by the scenic Land Train, which runs down to Leisure World and along both Promenades, or a leisurely walk.
From the Harbour, enjoy a trip on the ever popular Yorkshire Belle pleasure boat, or a thrilling ride on one of the Speed Boats, or have fun on the Pirate Ship.

The R.S.P.B. bird sanctuary, home to two hundred and fifty thousand nesting seabirds, is a must for all nature lovers with its all new viewing decks. This is especially spectacular when viewed from the "Yorkshire Belle" On one of its "Puffin Cruises" from the Harbour. To reach the sanctuary by road is only a short drive away.

Take a short drive out of town to the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, recently made famous by our world renowned artist "David Hockney" in his exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. Travel a little further to the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors, and visit "Heartbeat" country or just enjoy the wonderful scenery.Grantlea Bridlington is a No Smoking Establishment
